Corvette Build v2.5 - ProCharger F1X - Fore - Weld
Those other build threads were pretty long, so I figured why not consider this a new build v2.5
I decided to overhaul quite a bit of my setup... motor is still the same iron 365ci 4-bolt w/ LSA heads and LS9 gaskets
- swap the F1A-94 for a new F1X
- replace my single walbro 450/stock bucket with a Fore triple pump (Walbro 450 + two AEM 320e) + keep my external magnafuel 4303
- redo my fuel lines with a -10 feed split to a -06 for each rail and rail mount my regulator with a -08 return + 3/8" feed line return
- replace my stock radiator with a RSD cut down radiator and spal fans
- beadlock my 15" Weld RT-S and try the new MT ET Street R tire
- custom oil cooler
- replace both rear hubs since the wheel studs were getting worn out and prone to stripping
Fuel system should fix this:
Should give some clearance for the F1X
Left the cooler off last year to help the car warm up as it got colder in fall, now its time to get it installed
Starting to dig in...
Fore stuff is really nice quality
The Fore setup to reuse the level sender was really nice
I figured I'd post a few pics of how the tanks and transfer tubes go together in a C6 vette... it sucks. I replaced all my internal lines and swapped the lingenfelter bypass for the Fore piece:
The factory harness needs to be split up so the level sender wires can be attached to the Fore hat wires. The power needs to go to the FC3 controller to trigger pump #1 to come on like the factory pump. Ground just goes to frame ground.
Routed my fuel lines. -10 feed, -08 return, both with unions to make disconnecting and dropping easier if needed.
Wiring pretty much done, gonna clean the FC3 up a little when I secure it after testing
Wheels getting ready to go
Picked up the F1X too
Rail side came out pretty clean... The magnafuel regulator is pretty huge. I'm running both my old stock feed return line as well as a -08 retun (which was actually my old aftermarket feed line).
Need to button up the rest of the fuel system and sort out some odds and ends and then I can fire it up and test the pumps.

Fuel system is done and tested with no leaks. Main fore pump kicks on to prime like stock and the other 2 pumps kick in when 12v is applied to the trigger port of the fc3. Level sender works for the 5 gallons. Magnafuel kicks on too still via seperate hobbs + toggle switch. Toggle makes it easier to quickly mix fuel plus I know I'll always have 1 big *** pump I can manually control to run the car if needed.
The back half is a little cluttered given its basically 2 full fuel systems, but that's what the fender liner is for.
Gonna wait till morning to start it up to avoid pissing off the neighbors

Fore in tank has:
- walbro 450 main pump that ecu controls to prime and run
- 2 AEM 320s that come on at 4psi
External sump has:
- magnafuel 4303 that comes on at 4psi
So in boost 4 pumps are running.
Maybe overkill, but I already had the external magnafuel, so i figured why not leave it in

Started it up and took it to my tuner to iron out the fuel since it's sending so much more. Cars running well, fuel level senders are working across both tanks, siphon system is working, etc.
