Default Using Factory Fuel Feed Line for Return. What to do with stock filter

Ok so I am running a new -8 feed line for my turbo setup, and I am using my factory feed line for a return. What do I do with the factory fuel filter? I'm assuming I can't leave it in the line.

I removed mine, and put a piece of fuel line in its place.

Redrocket, I didn't know if the stock filter was one directional. So there's no issues with leaving it in then?

SM105K, How did you connect the new fuel line to the quick disconnect coming down from the tank?

It flows both ways. No problem at all with leaving it in.

I made a completely new fuel line, out of 5/16 E85 comp rubber line with all AN Fittings. I used the XRP push fittings to connect with the tank. There is a picture of it and the whole line is for sale in my sales ad.

Thanks for the help guys. I appreciate it. I want to keep from running a whole new return line to cut down on cost some.

RedRocket, what aftermarket fuel filter did you run with your new feed line?

While the fuel filter flows both ways, if you reverse the direction of flow on a used filter, then you take the chance of the debris trapped in the filter coming out and now heading back into the tank.

Does the filter have the same connections on both ends? If so, just flip it around so that the flow direction is back to the tank...

That is JMO for WIW...

Or just put a new filter in and run it so no debris will come from the old one.
