Default 10:5 compression on E85. How can I get more boost?

My car now is setup now to get 14#s off a 2 bar map. I have the 24x conversion on a LT1. What cold I do to surpass the 14# limiter besides getting a 3 bar map? Are their certain steps that need to be taken to reach a max of 20#s? Im just curious right now. Fuel system should support it and gate pressure is set at 8#s.

Or if this was your setup, how far would you push it? Trying to go as fast as possible. 80% track car 20% street car if that matters

Get the 3 bar MAP. Absolutely no reason to risk pushing 2.5 bar on a 2 bar MAP when you can get a 3 bar MAP sensor for $40.

Right. I was just wondering if I would have any other restrictions. As long as I burn true E85 I should be ok. Just wondering with 10:5cr how far could I push the setup...............

I'm 10.6:1, seen 20 psi before, run 16-17 routinely. On E48. I have a 2.5 bar map which is a modified Cobalt SS 2 bar sensor.

Cool. Thats what i was wanting to know. Do I have to run different fuel in order to hit that boost range?

I'm at just a little less compression than you with e85 and twin gt35s
Timing is pretty low, I've ran it up to 19 psi without any issues
Using 84lb injectors at 75psi base pressure

Bigger map is a must, you can try and scale it but the resolution will go to **** and it'll basically be guess work

Thanks bro. Didnt know if I needed to run better fuel or something to hit close to 20#s. Thats the main reason why I went with the 24x conversion cuz it would give me more tunability and gain more outta the car. Whereas the LT1 ignition and computer was very limited as to working with that much boost.

What MAP are you using?

I'm at 18psi on my 2bar MAP SD setup. Nothing wrong with pushing a few more psi over 14.7 if you know what you are doing. Saves me from not only having to buy a 3 bar map, but also buy more credits from hptuners to do a 3 bar custom OS.

That would be the first time I heard that. My buddy just had to buy his 3 bar OS, and that was only about 2 months ago. So did it happen recently?
