Default Installing 3bar MAP in LS2 intake. Need advise.

So Im procharging my LS2. I already purchased the generic GM 3 bar map but the hole in the intake is too small, and I would need to drill the hole for the securing screw. Before I go cutting my intake up..... I wanted to do my "measure twice" by making a thread and maybe getting some more input from you guys.

All suggestions appreciated!

Does the LS2 intake use the same MAP sensor as the LS1 intake?
EFI Source sells a plug and play LS1 3-bar MAP that replaces the stock MAP sensor as if it were a factory replacement.

Map sensor off of an early, like 03, Chevy duramax is a 3 bar and should fit right into your intake and use the factory plug.

I'm using the efisource 3 bar in my ls2 intake
Cheap, no harness/pigtail needed, just popped it in and started tuning

Im running a LS9 map in my ls2 intake. You will have to change the pigtail tho.
BTW, whats the difference between the different 3 bar map sensors, how do they affect timing using one part # compared to another?

MKVAMSO thats the picture I needed to see! Thanks very much! Are you running boost? Any issue with it popping up? Considering there will be pressure in the intake?
