Default Inverting the throttle body, thoughts?

I have a 102 mm throttle body. The big hump on top is going to interfere with my hood.

I flipped it over for the heck of it and it looks like it would work.

Any thoughts or concerns? Having the cable on the drivers side my work out better also.

Depending on the manifold/TB, you're essentially blocking the IAC when you flip the TB over. You'll have to drill holes in the throttle plate or adjust the screws to get it to idle. Cold starts will be extremely temperamental, especially in varying weather.

Thanks for the response, but not sure I understand why you think it would block the IAC if its flipped.

Ok thanks. Just want to make sure I'm not missing something.

I flip throttle bodies on almost all of the setups I build. Never encountered a issue with it.
