Default My S500 88mm 89 IROC-Z Build thread

I haven't been on here much but I figured I would share my latest thirdgen build. I bought the car from the original owner and it never had one single modification, not even a muffler. Until now... so here are some pics.

Following this post. Currently building my own with a 6.0 and a 76mm. Did you reinforce the rad support after you cut the stock one out? That's what I'm mostly concerned about, I'm thinking about cutting mine out as well because I'll be upgrading to an 88 sooner then later.

I'll be replacing rad support with chromoly tubing also probably running a 4 row 65 mustang radiator.

Cool build, but it is kind of a shame to see a nice iroc-z cut up like that.

Everything that was cut will be replaced with chromoly. I was hesitant at first it's not like the car is a 20-30k mile original it was a 5.7 car and has 80k original miles, but the car will be a lot better then it was from the factory and still appear to be stock. I'm keeping the stock hood and also plan on retaining the fog lights.
I've had many low mile original thirdgens and I love them but they're still slow lol
