Thanks guys! This was my 1st full set of passes at close to sealevel on the new combo. We were on a slick track, and foot braking. Boost was up pretty good at 26 psi but timing at a conservative 14 deg. Hopefully a good trans brake launch and a little timing will do the trick! In case no one is familiar with new combo changes are:

-Same Iron block honed .005'' over bore.
-JFR custom Autotec daily driver series pistons
-STD Callies H beam rods
-Same stock crank
-JFR 224 camshaft
-Arp main studs
-Mild ported TFS As cast 220 heads, bronze guide version running stock rockers.
-Gangsta V3 S476/96 1.25 T4.
-Firecore50 plug and play replacement truck coils, and wires.

Still running the KB log manifold, early truck intake, stock TB, full exh , air to air I/C, etc.

Yes before I was blowing out spark after about 23 psi. The holley HP is a great system but it does not work well with stock coils and high boost. Not sure why but I've fired up to 25 psi with .026'' + gap on my factory ecu truck with stock coils with no problem.

That thing is impressive!
Coming from the conventional sbc/bbc world, Im still amazed at the power you guys are getting from these things.

I had a 68 Camaro, 565 engine that ran 7.80's and I bet I had more $ in my heads then you have in your entire engine.

Damn that's fast!

Questions out of left field:

1) is that sound at the end of the runs your fuel pump? If so, what kind is it?

2) is your cage legal for faster than 8.5? I'm very confused on what ETs require the "funny car" style cage...

3) What RPMs do you cruise at on the freeway with that glide, and what diameter are your tires?

Stock48, you're awesome in how you do so much with your setups result wise and then you read "stock truck intake, stock tb, stock ecu, stock coils." I like your work and the reason why I'm also sticking with similar parts
