Nice! I've seen some good results from them. I only bought it because I thought it would be physically smaller that a bw s480 and easier to fit. but it doesn't look much smaller to me so If this one doesn't do the job I'll upgrade.

Who made the hot side setup?
Did you move or delete anything like alt or ac?

I made the hot side. Everything is still in factory location such as the alt and Ac. That why I had to run the exhaust out of the front bumper. Things are very tight In a V1 engine bay.

Any plans to run the exhaust out the rear or there's no way?
You welded up mild steel or stainless pipe?
What size is the pipe you used?

Ya me too. Saw YouTube video with this turbo on 240sx and the did dyno pulls from stock with cold side snout pulled all the way to 24-28# made up to 1250hp on stock 6.0. Got my vote

anything is possible but I couldn't figure out any way to do it without ditching the ac compressor. Its mild steel 2" pipe feeding the turbo

I know there are a couple guys running a custom alternator bracket to put it up top. If you could figure that out, you could run the downpipe there, yeah?

Probably. I its really tight on the alt. Side. I have the manifold, crossover pipe, waste gate, and steering shaft all tieing up the real estate behind it. This was my first attempt at turbo fab and I had nothing to go on. The few v1 single turbo setups were much in depth than this and. Didnt have much to go on. Now seeing the finished product I could build another and make some changes and probably get the down pipe to the rear..

Any reason why u went 2" over 2.5" or because of room?
What size is you down pipe, 3" ?
What do you think it'll put down rwhp wise?
I want to FI, actually turbo my V and I have about $7K to play with.

4" down pipe. I went with 2" pipe feeding the turbo so it would spool faster. If I remember correctly 2" pipe will support over 1400rwhp. No need to go with 2.5" for my purpose and it did help with clearance. Not sire what it will make. I dont plan on pushing it too hard. My goal was to make around 750

750 on stock rods/pistons...I know it's been done before, but kinda sounds like you'll be on borrowed time?

When your pushing 700+ rwhp on a heavy street car. You're always on borrowed time. Lol its always something. Trans, rear end, engine.....nothing last forever

What all was needed for the auto swap? If there is a thread about it please direct me to it. I have a 4l60 that has been sitting under my bench for 12 years now that I would love to drop in my V. What tail shaft housing did you use?

I used a non 4wd 4l60e out of an f body. I don't have a write up but Ill make one in a day or so. wanted to make sure everything I did would work, and today I ran it and it went through the gears fine.

I've seen kits which permit relocation of the a/c compressor... That *could* give you another route for the downpipe.

Hey you replied to my query about this in another thread. What if you turned the turbo 90* clockwise and ran the downpipe above the driver side manifold then down? Just from looking at mine I think you could snake it between the steering shaft and the bellhousing.
