Yeah you should be alright. I wasn't sure if you were going to turn this one into a track monster.

What's your bottom end setup and what oil pan are you using? We may have one of our new billet versions that will bolt up to your application with modifications. If so we can replace it for you. We just need to make sure that pickup tube will bolt up to our windage tray.

100% factory untouched LC9 bottom end and baffle. Using an aftermarket pan from speedmaster. Pickup and pan fit fine on the older steel version.

Sure. I'll pull the pan off this weekend and get all the angles.

Got the fuel surge tank and all the fuel lines/filters ran. Test filled the surge with stock fuel pump. All is well. Turned out great.

Ordered a large china oil cooler to use as a trans cooler. This things pretty massive, with a 2" thick core! About $80 with the AN fittings to adapt it down to AN6.

Not as far along as I wanted. Between the 100* temps and the RX-7 making metal I haven’t spent much time on it. Got the RX-7 going again this weekend, hopefully that’s not eating anymore of my time this year. Hope to make some serious progress in the next few months. Got our first kiddo due Dec.20… Goal is to get it running before then.

Good plan! I almost changed my license plate to "NAP TIME" because it seemed that was the only free time I had to get out in the garage. Lol.

Nice work! I feel your pain on the heat. I was out there yesterday afternoon and my legs had sweat puddling off of them with lots of rusted metal sticking to them as I cut out my quarter panel spot welds.

Now you're talking! Congrats on the boy. My son (first child) is 1.5yrs old and it's been great. A lot of work and patience but fun.

Few updates this weekend. Pulled the 4.8. Installed the $450 10” PTC converter and bolted the TH400 up to the Alum 5.3 and dropped it in.

Also installed a new accumulator & master cyl, bled brakes.
