They don't make big power because they don't have intercoolers. Therefore, the intake air charge will be hotter which limits how much boost you can run. If you are serious about making FI power, don't waste your money.

you can probably get an intercooler for the system, if not you could try alk injection.
just to make sure you know, the sts doesn't come with an intercooler either.

i just looked around a bit and procharger was the cheapest intercooler setup i saw. 3200

You could definantly make a intercooler for this kit, infact we were going to throw one on the car and crank the boost up before we descided that 9PSI wouldn't do it either and went with a turbo setup.

I have personal experience with this kit...non-intercooled 6.5lbs made a significant difference. I had it on a 95 camaro. I only paid $1000 for mine though. It's a good "beginners" kit. It was absolutely silent.

If you're cheap, it's an affordible starter kit. I would keep saving and buy a procharger or vortech kit... or turbo kit.

the intercooler isnt the problem because you can fabb a kit for that the real problem is the internal belt that breaks on anything over 9psi it is deffinately a great starter blower for someone with a stock car learning the FI ropes. Ive been there done that and learned alot.
