Default LT1 - Phamspeed Kit

Post all your asking/begging for a LT1 Phamspeed kit here.

I am tired of reading them in the useful LS1 kit threads.

LT1 kits? So far people have expressed there interest but no one has stepped up to the plate and paid for anything. We're not about to spend thousands of dollars on mock up, jigs, buying an LT1 F-body just to sell a couple kits. I've told people that have called to set up a gp, then we will make it for sure. 5 people or more need to buy just hot parts

I don't blame Phamspeed on this. I remember when they first came here said they were going to make a kit. Everyone was like yeah I'll buy one and all. When it came time to buy no one wanted it they wanted dyno results and crap like that. So phamspeed has to drop thier price very low. So I would say if you really want a LT-1 kit get the money up to phamspeed thier pretty fast at building a kit.

couldn't have said it better myself!! What happens if we did start to make LT1 kits is we'd have to buy an LT1 f-body. We'd have to do all the mock up and what not, make jigs for everything. Then we'd have to test fit every single kit that gets shipped out so we'd have to keep the LT1. So if we only sold a handfull of kits, we lost money. I want to make sure there are at least 5 people in.

I can't believe with the success you have had on LS1 kits that a LT1 kit would be to much of a stretch. I think you'll find the payoff will be as good as what your going to see with your LS1 business. Nobody ever said it would be easy, but I'm sure it will be worth it. Heck, your username even has the word LT1. If for no other reason do it because you own an LT1

I truly understand your hesitation to make such a kit, but damn if the LS1 kit is any idication of your commitment to the F-body crowd I can't imagine not wanting to have the same following from the LT1 guys. You truly do make an incredibly well built LS1 kit, now just spread some love for the LT1 guys

I think your going to find your business will increase considerably with spring already here and summer around the corner. Just to ask a few questions:

1. What are the major differences between the LS1 kit and LT1 kit (from a fabrication standpoint)

2. Would options be similar to LS1 kit

3. Would pricing be similar to LS1 kit

4. What would be the bare minimum commitment from the LT1 guys to get this started. (I know you have already said 5 LT1 guys/gals .
Could this startup process be done with less than 5 commitments? Say, maybe 3 commitments.

5. How much money initially would it take to get you started. 30 to 40% down from the 5 commitments.

6. I'm really serious about trying to help get this off the ground so please let me know what I can do to get the fire started under the LT1 guys.

Looking forward to your responses

Come on LT1 guys lets get some commitment for the kit. We already know that PHAMSPEED does incredible work......... !

Im sure there will be no problem getting people to commit if they knew how much money they were looking at spending. Thats the only thing thats stopping me from fully committing.

Im rebuilding/turbocharging my 95 Z and if Phamspeed doesn't make a kit then I will have to go with PTK since they have no competition.

Im going to post messages on other boards to try to get support for this.

Lets get the ball rolling!

I know litle or nothing of this Phamspeed, Nor do I pay a lot of attention to the LS1 crowd. I however am very seriously shopping for at the very least a hot parts kit, and more than likely a complete kit. The only thing that I have found at this point be decent is the PTK stuff. In actualaty I am days from ordering from Jose @ Forced inductions.
(Sorry guys the turbo belongs under the hood, not the "butt")

I would be very interested in seeing this phamspeeds idea's/ kit, I wouldnt mind being a pattern car. IF it was needed. I would want to end up with a QUALITY kit that would be capable of making some serious power. I have been looking at a 76GTS FWIW.
Ohh and I do have a "few" bucks tucked away.

Now off to do some looking for Phamspeed.....

Carnutz, I would probably be interested in putting some money down with you on a LT1 kit. That would make two of us ! I would say a percentage of the kit price down and then the rest on delivery.

OK, guys!! We've heard enough. Here's what we gonna do.... If someone lets us use there car for mock up of the very first kit, we'll give them a kit at cost (material cost). So someone close to or in Oregon step up!! You'll get a turbo kit for around $2000-$2500. It will take us no more than 1 month to finish the kit. These kits will probably sell for around $3500. So even if you have to ship me your car, you'll still end up buying the kit cheaper than if you were to buy it when we produce them.

There you go, no more complaining from anyone Now someone has the power to do something about it. You've seen our work, and should know it's going to be an awesome kit!!

PM me for more details.
