Anyone seen this head gasket
What do you guys think about this head gasket? Anyone used it or know someone who has used it?
I am looking to run 20-25lbs boost.
I know all the othe gasket companies out there.....please do not comment on them......just pros and cons and experience with the above gasket
Looking at 4.155 bore with .050 thickness....
Thanks Tom Ulrich

The gasket looks good in person. I have not installed a set yet. I wanted to try them on my 4 inch bore gen3 engine but they did not come in fast enough. I don't remember the price, but I think it was over 150 set.

hmm, if they are $120 that seems prety reasonable.
Kurt, or anyone that might know. i still have stock 6.0 heads and am running arp head studs. i torqed the studs about 15 ft/lb's over. i recently spit out a cometic head gasket, both the block and head had been resurfaced so the finish should have been decent. i had a lot of runs on them, several at 16psi and a 100shot. i am prety carefull to avoid detonation. since the head gasket blew out am i to the point where the heads are just lifting or did i more likely see some detonation that caused it to go bad?

I am using the SCE titan gaskets but I also oringed the block. They actually have a part number for the LS1 motor. I was able to get some 4.00 bore 62 thou head gaskets. Part number SCE011006LS price $94 SCDP
We have been pulling over 1000 fwhp @19 psi and looking to boost to 30 psi when I can get the pulley

These gaskets cost approx 85.00 each. They do recommend retorquing...as do most companies.
I would not reuse these gaskets.....I also wouldnt reuse cometics....I know they are reusable and can work fine but why chance it?
These gaskets do not require oring grooves in the head or block. No machining required. The o-ring is incorperated into the gasket.
They come in .43 .50 .62 .80 thicknesses. They also have popuplar bore sizes including 4.155.
I think I am going to try them ......there does not seem to be anything else out there other than cometics....which I have had experience with...and have to say I was not very impressed.
W2W......when do you plan on using these gaskets? any build coming up?

We reused Tiff's FlatOuts once, put 'em on right before the power tour. They had no problems sealing water, well until we detonated like crazy during some highway tuning Then they only leaked a tiny tiny bit, and we still put another 3500 miles on them to get home ... I'm pretty impressed with them, and we just put another brand new set on the motor.
