Default Speed Inc Procharger Cog Kit

Coming soon! Cog setup for your ATI Procharger!

Cost estimates are around $1,500 mostly because of the cost of the balancer. If we see alot of interest I'm sure we can work something out!

What different pulley sizes are you going to have with this setup?

Right now our set up on a few cars max out a D1 with a 38 tooth blower pulley. We can get pretty much any diameter from ATI for your application.

When you say max out, around how much boost would that be on a stock motor? Right now I have a 3.7 inch pulley on an 8 rib setup and that is rated at 12psi, I just wonder how much further I can go. I thought these D1s could support up to 925 horse.

With a engine that flows well like our 414 in our shop car we see 17psi @ 4200 RPM --- stock heads would not flow as well and therefore make much more boost. We are looking for mid 800's to the rear wheels with our d1 shop car

I just wanted to know how it would compare in terms of boost on a stock motor. Like having a 12 psi pulley or a 10 or 8. I dont have a stock motor anymore, so im good to go for some decent boost. Thanks for the info

What type of blower speed are you seeing at 4200rpm to see 17psi on a 414ci motor? I was doing some calculations and it seems that a P1SCH would max out at about 10psi spinning at max. rated blower speed of 60000rpm at an engine speed of 6000rpm on a built 422. The D1SC doesn't flow much more air so I was just wondering. Is my math flawed somewhere?

What cog gears would I need to see 60000rpm blower speed at 6000rpm with a P1SCH?(same 4.1:1 trans ratio as the D1SC) Also, how do the cog belts hold up? Do they last a while or do they tend to throw easily? I've heard ATI makes 25mm, 50mm, and bigger cogs. Any chance of getting a 50mm setup? I have plenty of room in the vehicle I'm thinking of.

Thanks

John

What kind of longevity are you expecting/seeing out of the cogged belts?

How would a cog system benefit the Powerdyne S/C LS1 set up? Since the PD is driven off the stock accessory drive, a cog belt wouldn't work with it nor cog pulleys.
