Question Kenne bell in an fbody?

so, would that be possible? the new kenne bell twin screw for the vette looks very impressive... obviously you would have to cut the cowl just like you would do for a maggie... Im really kicking around this idea... if i can come up with the $ im sure ill try it

What are the spec on that? No doubt the curve will be drop-dead gorgeous, but what peak numbers will it be capable of?

Is that even out yet? Last I knew they were testing it on a c5 and kept pushing the release date back.

I seriously doubt that you will see anything close to 1000rwhp with a KB. The 03-04 Cobras with the KB are making a max of 750hp with the KB. I really doubt that blower can flow enough to feed that hp.

most of the 03-04 cobras with the KB are running the 1.7L (650hp rating) unit or the 2.2l unit (825 hp rating), that one i listed is the 2.4l, they claim 1000hp... thats more than my goal anyway... 750hp is alot closer to where id like to be... im not saying im right or wrong... i just posted the info thats on their website, i dont think there is enough people out there running this to verify a non biased opinion

EDIT! my bad... this blower is a 2.6L

I hope this could be made to fit, that would make my decision of which way to go (FI vs H/C/N20) VERY easy.

I would pay the money for that and would cut the cowl to get it to fit.

O.k. for my application. It is an all out drag car. What about forward mounting the engine about 4-5 inches to accomplich not cutting the cowl at all. Radiator would go in the very front of the car. Possible..??????

In an all out drag car why would cutting the cowl be an issue anyways?

I wouldnt mind having a KB on my SS.
