Default Bore and boost question...

I'm buying a brand new LS6 block. Standard 3.898 bore. I'm looking at pistons right now and it seems my choices are 3.898 or 3.905...Is it ok with FI LS1 to hone it over to 3.905 with high hp and 14-15psi of boost?? or should I keep it 3.898 bore?? Does the .007 hone over really matter that much in cylinder wall thickness and durability??

If it's a brand new block, why would you need to bore it out at all?

All the forged 347 poeple run it like that. I dont see aproblem. If you get a LS6 block and it a 04 casting you will need the shorter head studs. Dont ask me how I know LOL.

I don't think there would be a problem but you can check with speed inc to be sure. They do a lot of boosted set ups.

Yeah...shorter studs. There's another 250 bucks I didn't plan on

Well I am running a 3.910 bore setup right now. Seems to be doing okay.
