Default Turbo disassembly??

I want to polish one side of my turbo and am not sure about taking them apart. It's a GT42 and I see a band clamp that looks like it hold or at least helps to hold my part in place. Is there anything else that needs to be removed?

Be prepared, it will take you at least 6-8 hours to have it done with normal tools and compounds. Oh and wear a mask, you will have a TONS of aluminum dust everywhere.

I thought that stuff helps to lubricate your lungs

I'll be doing some sanding before it meets the buffer...unfortunately. Have a respirator standing by though
