Default Its been a while since

we've had a post asking how much does FI really cost....hmmm wtf?

I'm gonna say 6K minimum and can get to 10K in a twitch of an eye and 15K in a blink

15k got me FI plus 12-bolt, clutch, suspension, fuel, brakes... It can get you pretty far... On a stock block!

Phase two ( ) is seeming to be around 10k... That'll be for forged internals (stock block), fuel, gear swap, clutch swap, turbo swap (that one's gonna hurt!), meth injection, custom cam, heads, etc...

I say at least 20k for a serious effort, ~15 psi or so...

Oh, and in a blink, too!!!

I play the lottery, but I'm not winning.

If you have a garage and tools, this can be cut down quite a bit.

my plan is to get efilive and learn to tune.
then get an sts turbo and install on my stock camaro running 5psi
that should cost about 4500$

then ill upgrade the fuel system, valvetrain, and get meth or an intercooler and run 7-8 psi
that should be 1500-2000$ more

i will do the install myself and have free access to a welding shop. goal is for a street car

wishful thinking? please let me know if I am missing any expenses

slightly wishful thinking, but you could certainly get by with a very streetable car with that plan. Throw in a few extra hundred for guages and little things that add up quick.

Fuel, valve train, and intercooler/piping might run you a little more though.
