New "stock style suspension" LS1 World Record (with timeslip)!
Its been a long time coming but we finally did it. I have to give a big thanks to Mike Murillo who helped me fine tune the computer and to Josh, Jimmy the Kid, Rick, and Kyle for all the help wrenching on the car, and last but not least LME for building me such a stout motor. It also helps to have such a great girlfriend to put up with all this racing crap. Also like to thank Mike at Icon for letting me use his lift time and time again. After tuning the car at murillo's we decided to take it to san antonio raceway to see what we could get out of her. First pass off the trailer was the quickest pass the car had made so far. Then we backed it up with the 7.98 @175mph. Just to make sure it wasnt a fluke and the car was not hurt, we ran it at HMP 3 TIMES and still ran the same 1/8 miles times as we did in san antonio. I do not have a video of it but if anyone on here knows of anybody that was at the track this past friday with a camera please let me know through pms as I would love to have it. Look for us to be back at san antonio next weekend at the Clash of the Titans race.
