check out nasty performance and they have complete fuel systems, do a 370 with a t76...i think you should start form the ground up. no use in making power you wont be able to put to the ground

If the engine has under 55k miles you can probably get away with 550 or so for quite some time, but you'll go through a 4l60e every 10k miles. Look at the 4l80e conversion. If it's going to be a hot street car and not used on the drag strip, you can probably let the 10 bolt spin the tires and be Ok. Just keep a $250 spare 10-bolt in the garage to swap out in 3 hours. If drag racing is in your future plan on adding an expensive rear (12-bolt, 9 inch, Dana 60) in the budget.

I'm planning on safely running a little over that much with my set-up and I think it should last a while considering how little I drive the car.

How do you plan to use the car for now and in the next 3 years? And are you ready for the large $$$ investment needed over time?

right now the car sees around 2k miles amonth..it wont be like that once we do the car but i will like the drive the car alot...i guess a better question is maybe i dont need 550hp..but id like to run somewhere in the 11s in this car high or low but non the less 11s.

but we are thinkin of just doing the turbo for now running like 5psi that way its no big deal driving around. but id like to be able to crank the boost up some to make the bigger numbers running around 8-10 lbs i guess to get around the 500whp.

so what am i looking at payin the tranny shop to convert the tranny to a 4l80e..would it be cheaper to go a 6 speed? i know that would be more fun on the street. just not as fast for the 1/4.

i think for the complete turbo kit and intercooler through the guy i spoke with is gna be around 4grand. then 500 bucks on a tune.

now for the tranny and rear end waht am i looking at? an easy 4 grand all over again?

and il need injectors. fuel system. guages, boost controller.

im just trying to figure what im gna spend.

big thing is i got some buddies with 03/04 cobras and couple with fast lightnings. if i was in teh 11s itd shut them up real quick. and i think that would be a good time to run.

The prices you listed on the bare bones turbo kit isn't nearly enough to get the car running in reality.

The Procharger series is much simpler and cheaper to get going. The D1's have a killer whine at speed and idle. Look in that direction. ~Joshua
