Default You guys say you like turbos?

I do... That's why I watched this video, like, 10 times:

http://videos.streetfire.net/video/6...0a00f132ff.htm

Comment, discuss, wipe screen, etc.

Edit: I know, but... Awesome showcase of WRC, best I've seen though the gangsta music doesn't suit my tastes, REALLY good 1 minute in. Sorry for the offtopicness.

That's a Nelson motor...I doubt the owner knows the exact specs of the turbos besides the basic impeller diameter. He custom specs his stuff after HOURS upon HOURS of testing. for 1200hp they are usually twin "70mm" turbos.

yeah, saw the article the have on HOTROD about a 400ci+ twin "70's" do 1500hp...

they have a nice line up of wicked fast cars... i know that much poer on the street is pretty much usless without as much attention to suspension as the motor, but the real question is...

WHY NOT?

Too wild...

When I first got my car, I thought, "500 rwhp is too much... That's gonna be useless on the street..."

We all get jaded, let's be honest...

We have a few 1k rwhp cars around S. Florida that race sometimes on the track and MOSTLY on the street... You just drive differently... No full throttle until you're going 100 mph or something! I don't know how people do it... Maybe they crush the carpet behind the accelerator?

Then, one weekend day, throw slicks and run 7's... I wouldn't mind having it AT ALL.

There are quite a few 1000+ HP street cars around here that never race at the track.
