MIGHTYMOUSE 'help' FUND HERE:
Hello and thanks for reading...
For those of you who don't actually know me, my name is Steve Williams and I am a 29 year old controls engineer living in Richmond Virginia, and David Childress (MIGHTYMOUSE) is a good friend of mine. As a representative of RPM, our local F-body club that is basically run and organized by MIGHTYMOUSE, I would like to start a collection to help him recover from his enormous loss at Richmond Dragway on Friday 9-15-06.
For those that don't know, years worth of time, tons of blood and sweat, and tons of money were lost in a fashion that makes them irrecoverable. I'm sure you can all appreciate what it is to lose nearly completely such a large portion of your lives.
Since there is no easy way to setup a Paypal account that can handle all types of transfers such as Credit card, etc, as well as allowing him to fully withdraw, and my Paypal account is fully featured and really never used, I am going to take up the collection through my Paypal account. At the end of 30 days from now (and in between) I will give David full oversight of all funds and activity of my account, as well as other RPM members (in my presence) to make sure there is no question of intent. Those that know me can vouch for my honesty.
Please make donations via PAYPAL to the address snow99@hotmail.com ...feel free to send me an email to that address as well if you'd like. Please put MM, MIGHTYMOUSE, DC, or something to that effect in the title or description. I'll let you all know what we have collected after 30 days has passed. Any donations are appreciated, regardless of size. Please help out if possible and if you are so moved to do such. Thanks in advance for any help or donations given. He is a great guy and has helped countless people, perhaps this is an oppurtunity for us to give a little back.
Here is a link to the video from last Friday's accident if you haven't seen it: http://www.frozenwaste.com/Frost/RPM/MMaccident.wmv
Here is a link to his 147.97 MPH pass at MIR last fall as well: http://www.frozenwaste.com/Frost/RPM/mm_big.wmv
Thanks again, Steve Williams (RPM)

Steve, I just sent $100.
I know a few folks asked me to start up this fund, but I think this works better.
Good luck Dave, you have always been a big contributor to this FI section.

Thank You.
David has helped several (I am sure the number is higher) on here and the LSx community regarding their car, turbo builds, etc. This is how we are merely saying "Thank You David". If you dont want to contribute, great. If not, please dont contribute negativity.
We are all close friends with him and this is our way of helping our family. For the past 5 years of Knowing him, I have seen what he has done and the hardwork that he has put into it. However, we are an F-body family and everyone can help out too.
This is what it is about.

Yes we are for real! He is our close friend and we have seen all his sweat, tears, and sometimes blood go into the car. Yes, it is a risk we all take, but sometimes it catches you when you arent prepaired for it, so we want to help him out. This is what we want to do and are offering others to participate.
Please like we stated, please keep the negativity at bay, its a small request for fellow F-Body enthusiasts. No one is holding any guns to heads to contribute.
