An LS6 intake is worth it for your combo, it's probably 30+ hp all the way across your power band, maybe more.

And you can buy an LS6 intake off e-bay or here in the for sale section for ~250 bucks

An LS6 intake will add that much more HP over an LS1?

An LS6 intake is worth over a tenth on a H/C LS1, and it'w worth more for a boosted car. I'm not saying it's worth three tenths, but it's worth at least a tenth.

I dont think it has a tested "limit" more like I think there is an efficency loss... you can FI a LS1 Intake over 1000RWHP I am sure... but with a better intake it would make more like 1100 or more (just throwing the numbers out for example)

Rare to crack an LS1 or LS6 OEM intake.

I am bringing this back from the dead. I have a Vic jr + sheetmetal elbow ready for the car but some new machining costs make me contemplate selling them and just running the stock ls1 intake. I am not a 1000whp dreamer, realistically I will be at 650-750 at the wheels. How bad is the stock intake going to hurt me?
