Default Looking for that T unit for brake booster to hook up turbo stuff...

Hey guys, i remembered seeing this a while ago but can't find it now.... someone made a T like unit that they spliced into the brake boost i believe to hook up all your turbo stuff too. Not sure of everything i'll need (how many ports) but i need it for my boost guage, and whatever else to hook up my twin kit too. Can someone link me to who makes this little unit and how many ports i'll need? Thanks a lot!

Just go buy some brass fittings at a local Home Depot or Lowe's. I forget the size of the tube nut adapter you'll need for the plastic tube for the boost gauge. Just take the hose with you to the store. The directions may even say the size.

Once that is figured out, measure the I.D. of the vacuum hose, get (2) hose ends and a t-adapter.

Parts needed:
1. (1) T-adapter- make sure the single part of the T accepts the tube nut adapter and the 2 other ends accept the vacuum barb fittings
2. (1) Tube nut adapter- sized for the bost gauge hose
3. (2) Barb fittings- sized for the vacuum hose

I don't have pics, sizes, or any of the particulars but hopefully this helps you out.

Good luck
Andy

Thats what I did on mine also. worked great and depending on where you splice into the brake booster line, you can make it where you can't even see it. I think I got the link for that fitting posted above from forcefed98... can't be certain on that though.

You need as many ports for as many devices that require vacuum pressure. I remember when I had the procharger, the only source needed was for the boost gauge. Turbo's may be different. Ask around

I got one of the golden eagle vac blocks. And wouldnt you know it the god of turbo delay struck. The vac block fitting holes werent even drilled all the way through. So not getting any readings on the fittings.

abeasst, its clearly written in the instructions that you have to drill the holes all the way through. They did this so you only use the amount of ports you need and not have to buy extra fittings to plug up the unused ports.

To the poster, tap into the brake booster line, you won't have any problems. Just need to find a plastic tee and a length of vacuum line to mount it where you like. Pep boys had all the stuff I needed to complete this easy install.

ok, so you just cut your brake booster in half and place a T in the center with the new end the size to fit on the vacuum block? Then drilled out the holes in the block and feed my lines to it? Do those fittings come with it like Moparnos' or will i have to get those? Just curious on all the stuff i'll need for this little install. I'm going to need boost guage, BOV, and 2 WGs for now... then i'll leave the two others for when i get another pump and boost controller. So if someone that has used this could post up the extra lines and size of fittings i'll need that would be great. Thanks!
