Default eboost 2 set up favorites

this thing has a 40 page owners manual. its worse than my cell phone.

there are lots of different things you can do with this as the other owners know.

how many of the different functions have people tried and what do they like and not like? i really don't know where to start.

-is anyone inputting rpm?
-is anyone using the led hook ups?
-is the alarm louder than eboost1?
-anyone found having 6 set points over the original 3 useful?
-delayed switching..cant figure out when that would be good
-has offset correction been helpful to anyone
-mapping boost set point w/ rpm?
i think this would be good if you never worried about spinning, if you spun the boost would just go up and not help the spinning situation
-anyone using sequential switching?
--sequence d. i cannot figure out an application of this where it would help

alarm is there but i never notice it....i dont have rpms going to mine. I do have it kick on my 2nd fuel pump when i hit 3.5 psi.
I am going to try to hook it up with 2 setpoints......have my Dj wideband activate switchpoint 2 if it goes lean. sp1 would be 20psi with sp2 being like 10psi

The manual is a real tome, but even worse is the way you have to program it. I'm afraid of altering a value when I'm just trying to scroll through the parameters to see what they're set at. It's flash-based memory, so you don't have to worry about it losing info when you disconnect the battery... I just wish they would've made it so you could program the flash via a nice clear menu system on a PC and then just plug it into the controller.

Nick @ Newtech set mine up; he's Nickn20 on this board and he might be able to help you out.

But I'd say you really should hook up the rpm's; you lose alot of the advantages of using this controller if you don't.

I am going to try to hook it up with 2 setpoints......have my Dj wideband activate switchpoint 2 if it goes lean. sp1 would be 20psi with sp2 being like 10psi
Cablebandit, if I remember correctly the unit will always default to SP1 upon power up, so you might want to reverse those so that SP1 is 10 psi.

Haha I'm glad you are having fun it.... I read 99% of the manual and thought that I needed a solid 5% of it, and I thought you might be able to use about 8-9% of it

Don't forget me when you're ready for one......

The feature I like best is being able to raise boost progressively by time, helps keep traction going down the track.

I bought one... simple to wire and plumb (I hooked up the RPM input too). I haven't started programming it yet, and not looking forward to it either.
