how much boost is safe in a stock block ls1
im running the 76mm street tti kit

ok so im definite not going to gegt a straight answer because i have searched and have found anywhere between 6 to 11psi. is it more of the hp level that is dangerous to the motor than the psi?

Well, youre not going to get a concrete answer on how much boost to run, but like you said, the range is from 6-11 psi. Some people busted their engine at 6psi and some at 11psi and thats the best youre going to get...I suggest you look at not just the numbers but the experiences that went along with them as that will give you a more clear idea of what to do.

Well damn thats just really sucks off to mti for a shortblock i guess. Oh wait i still have to sell that damn 350z. Should have never bought rice!

7 to 8 psi is what I would run on a stock shortblock. If you switch to the truck heads (317's) it will drop your compression by about a point and you could get away with maybe a pound or two more.
