OK. And dyno runs will be done. But is there some kind of calculator that can input some info and give an estimate?

What do you want to know? It could make 2000 rwhp if the motor can take it, and that block is supposed to be able to.

Naw, the turbo is too small for that. Most t88's are only rated at 1450hp max...
Edit... I am a dumb ***. Twin 88's... Dee de dee

I was just wondering if there was a calculator of some sort. A small block chevy 454ci has already been built that made 2,300 FWHP, but it had different turbos, a tad smaller. They said the LSX iron will be just fine for that power too.....they're just waiting for the blocks to arrive so they can throw the first LSX iron block engine together

Great, another bench racing thread by the master himself.

What happened to the 44XCI motor you were building? Or the BBC TT C6? Or the 1500rwhp turbo 436CI? Or the 650rwhp NA motor?

I'm going to guess the same thing that will happen with this setup. It won't.

Don't know what NRE did with their first engine. They did over 100 dyno runs with their first sbc 454ci that made 2,300 FWHP. Probably put it in a street car like most of his high horsepower engines.

Don't forget about the SC'ed 1,500 RWHP 447ci idea I asked about. But apparently you're just a moron who can't comprehend what he reads because all I've ever done is ask about these types of set-ups. Never said one was in the process of being built. But I'll say it here first......................2 cars will be done in the very near future. One set-up is decided on and its gonna be ****** expensive.

I guess it's easy for you to confuse someone asking for a power calculator, for "hey guys look what I'm having built next week."

When you plan to spend a shitload of cash on a set-up, do you just buy something quickly or do you research every possible option? What a sap. Have a nice day jealous boy.

"no water temp (it won't take it no matter what I do)"

Click on "air to water" than it will take the water temp of the a-2-w system.

Mine came to 1460 hp - supposedly to the flywheel -- 1460 x .80 = 1180RWHP - fairly close to what we figured on my engine at 20lbs of boost.

edit: 2,267, it worked. Wjhats the highest VE an 8 cyl have?

What water temp to use? It won't be an A-2-W cooler though, just A-2-A. Is there a big difference between the two in power?
