I heard some guys on a stock cubed LS1/6 motor will put on 6 liter GM OEM gaskets to knock down the compression a tad.
How much will this knock down compression on at stock 10:5 comp. LS6 motor and are there any problems that can surface by doing this?

i THINK the 6.0L MLS gaskets are ~.08 or so thicker than stock graphite - but i couldn't justify going from 5.7L MLS gaskets to 6.0's

Bro-this is eb02z06 from the CF forum- 6.0 and 5.7 gaskets are the same thickness-you would need to get a set of gaskets from cometic in a .065 thickness for a drop in CR but then again it would go from say 10.6 to say 10.2.

Easier to do 72cc heads IMO if you want to drop the compression..
