Default basic bolt ons for STS

what would be a good improvement in hp as far as bolt ons go for the kit WITHOUT h/c? im basically looking at either the sts or ati, those are my two last options. im still trying to decide which way to go.....i dont know much about FI and the one thing i liked was how on hptv got 540rwhp with the ati. i mean, if i go with the ATI i can bolt on everything AND the scharger....but im kind of confused with the turbo setup..no headers no intake???? so what can i do to it?

For a FI setup, to make more power you just need more boost (air). The ati procharger at 8psi should put you in the low 500s easily. The sts system, while cheaper (initially) will do the same.

With either kit I would install a Lid. With the STS, I would go with a catback... ...

I kid...

Long Tubes and full exhaust with the supercharger

With either kit, ported TB, LS6 intake...

STS, wrap the exhaust, bigger turbo...67mm at minimum.

Hell ya stock engine. Mine is bone stock except for valve springs. 500rwhp ain't no thang but a chickin **** for the LS1.

My stock clutch and rear-end are also holding up quite nicely. As of this weekend, I'll be putting down 480s-490s for power.

the thing is.....im more comfortable going with the ATI. I would like to go FULL boltons without h/c and slap on the supercharger....with a tune i would easily be over 500.

If you want to stay on stock bottom end, dont do heads/cam for FI. It will put you alot further then you want to go. For a customers 00 trans-am it had heads/cam when we put a ATI on it, well with a 5.0" pulley it made 7psi and made almost 600rwhp.

i made 503rwhp with my STS kit, custom cam, patriot dual springs and a VERY good tune @ 5.5psi. it can be done if you do it right. and from the prices of these D1SC kits, i paid about the same and i have a turbocharged cam'd LS1

Coming out of TRT on Saturday night with close to 490+...should be interest

IMO, to get to 500rwhp with just the FI, you need to be one luck a$$ sucka. 99Z28L1 and I got kind of lucky...maybe our cars are just abnormally fast

Invest in a Progressive methanol injection system, The cooling and octang boost benefit will allow you to run that stock LS1 safe with boost. You will be able to run more timming and or boost whith the system i sell.
let me know if you need any help
