Default Oil Cap Breather

Hey,

I just got my oil return from the STS into the drivers side valve cover, so now i need a oil cap breather. I did a search and also searched summit and im not sure what to buy.

Im looking for a oil breather cap that will just screen on in place of the old oil cap?

any help? maybe a summit part # ? or sponser?

thanks

Mike

I believe EPP sells the breather. Screws into the oil spot and has filter built in

So you ran return line into the port on back of driver side valve cover? any pics? how did you connect it

damn you guys respond quick lol, thanks

the hose that was going into the oil cap is now going into the driver side valve cover.

The intake and valvebody are capped off.
The 2 passenger sides are Teed off and going into a catch can with a breather

I just went to Advance Auto and got a APC one. Drilled the hole in the cap just big enough that the rubber tubbing to connect it fits tight and secure. Then put it back on. Looks like its suppose to be there lol. I can ad an adhesive from work later if it looks to be unsecure, but for now it worked for the little time i had it on there lol.

2 on the hotchkiss.

I think Speed Inc also carries them (I got mine used from PSJ so who knows).

You can either pop it onto the elbow going or take off the elbow and connect it directly onto the head. Mine is on the elbow and Silverghosts is on the head. So it works both ways.

i bought mine from EPP , remove the piece from the valve cover that sticks up, its a bitch to get out i had my valve cover off , then you just screw the breather directly into the valve cover , clears my BMR strut brace.

I have the EPP one and under wot oil drips down onto the header and smokes (burns). I ended up taking it off and putting the regular cap back on.

Brand new for sale, if anyone is interested.

I have a Metco which looks exactly like the one EPP has for sale. I do get a little smoke out of mine, but I have heard that it is normal for ones. Once the filter 'ages' a little the smoking will stop.
