Default Twin or single for the street?

I am in the process of building a 74 260Z LS1 swapped (of course) street car. The project will include a turbo, and I was debating whether I should go with a single or twin setup. I am looking for 650 RWHP with street manners. The concern I have with a single is how hard the turbo hits when it comes online. With a light car that struggles for traction this is a problem. Would the twin setup be any easier than a T76 for the traction issue? Is there a specific boost controller that works better than others for controlling boost rate gain in lower gears ?

Well I can tell you that when my twin's come on it hit's pretty hard. It's like a 300shot of nos at 3800rpm.Not sure how hard a single hit's,but twin's hit hard also.

i would guess that a single would hit hard, and twins would hit so fast that it wouldnt be as "hard" as the single. but thats what i think

I don't think it will matter to much. The twins would come in sooner, possibly causing more traction problems. 650 rwhp in any lightweight car can be a handful to get the suspension ironed out. This RX7 has similar problems. http://www.exoticperformanceplus.com...Car.php?car=22 Bob
