Default 423" stroker, Afr 225 heads, F1a Procharger w/front mount.

I already have all of this stuff. I am curious as to which pistons to go to instead of the current ones. I currently have ross pistons in the engine. With 72cc combustion chambers I am at 11.0 to 1 Static Compression Ratio. What would you recommend for pistons and what kind of compression ratio should I shoot for? Also any recommended cam would be most help full. Thanks in advance...

We have had very good results with Diamond pistons and Total Seal rings. Give us a call and Brent can help you out with a piston/ring selection. 260 244-4808.
We shoot for a 9.5/1 compression ratio.
Our blower cam would work very well for your combination.

I am very happy with my Diamond thermal coated pistons I would shoot for 9.2:1 to 9.5: compression level also.

Awesome thanks for the replies. I have read good things about the total seal rings and diamond pistons before. What about bearings? Kings? And any other custom cam that anyone recommends would be awesome. Thanks again

18 to 20 psi with AFR heads and a good fuel system. Bob

Thanks for the replies guys. Special thanks to bob in his responses as well as offers for service. I will be calling you guys shortly to get those pistons and rings. Also, with a similair setup to mine on 18-20 psi what kind of numbers would I see? I am hoping for 850+ rwhp and gobs of torque. Hopefully this setup will do the trick. Thanks again guys...

Not a problem. 850+ is well within reach. We have made 740 rwhp with a 346, mild cam, Patriot stage 2 heads at only 16 psi of boost on my Mustang Chassis Dyno. Bob

The whole point of thermal coating the pistons is to ensure the heat of the combustion process is distributed across the piston evenly eliminating hot spots. Not a lot of people do it since it almost doubles the cost of the pistons.
