Is there a reason why you want to run stock springs? They make good spring/retainer kits for a few 100 bucks. I also would NOT run boost on stock springs.

Ussually 10lbs is the max on a stock spring setup we run. They can float at any rpm/boost depending on how strong they are. I like Comp 918's if 10lbs + is used.

Right some seem to be ok. It will be a combination of things, rpm, cam, boost, and how old or strong they were in the first place.
