You might also be interested in our Magnacharger kit for F-bodies. They come complete with everything you need, and one recently made over 440RWHP/440RWTQ on a stock M6 WS6!

Depends on how you want the system to grow.
If you are happy with a stock 346 with lots of instant tq then go maggie.
If you want to be able to run more boost and a larger motor later then go with the Procharger.

And what sort of driving characteristics you want from the system.
Given the relatively low power you seek, the extra low end torque of the Maggie might be more useful.
Although Bob's Procharger route would ultimately have more room to grow at the top end.

if you want to keep the car stock i say either one will do just fine, both are reliativly easy to install and keep up. IF you want more power in the future, i would def stay away from a roots type blower.

As has been said, you have to ask yourself what you really want from the car. If you like to cruise, and run stop light to stoplight, then the Magnuson is pretty hard to beat. If you like to drag race, and always want it to be faster and faster, then the Procharger is the better choice. Prochargers were the only choice for F-bodies for a long time, but now there are options out there so people can build cars suited to the way they like to drive.

I vote procharger. Mine has suited me very well. My P1SC setup put down 489rwhp with only headers- everything else was completely stock. With stock manifolds, it made 454rwhp. This was only at 6psi. I drove it like that for over 27k (s)miles. Definitely made for a very fun and fast street car! Now I'm hoping to be near 700rwhp with the bigger F1 head unit on my forged 347 setup. The great thing about the procharger setup was it only took 30 minutes from when I pulled my car in the garage to when I was lowering it back down off the jack stands to change out the head unit. Can't beat that kind of versatility!

Get the magnacharger, less issues to deal with. It might not make the peak power of a procharger. It will definately have better torque curve. Lots of plumbing to deal with in the procharger. This is why GM and LPE use roots type superchargers, Reliabilty! Does anybody else offer a 3yr 36000mi warranty with their blower installed? I would do the maggie or go turbo. I use to own a procharger and not trying to bash them, they are the best centrifical supercharger. It all comes down to what you want. Do you want dyno numbers or a power adder that is simplistic, basically OE reliable, and makes good power?

Thanks everyone! The ATI ProCharger P-1SC offers a 3 yr unlimited warranty. The D-1SC comes with a one year warranty. ATI ProCharger has been in business for twelve years now, and have an excellent track record. Check out all the cars with ATI ProChargers in the project car section of my website. Bob
