Default Magnacharger dyno results

Finally got the proper pulley on the maggie. I'm now consistently seeing 6-7lbs of boost. I'm still having belt issues. Even shredded one on the dyno. While there, I could see the tensioner not only move up and down, but side to side. One of the tuners actually pointed it out to me after we replaced a belt and said that's the problem. Maybe I just got a bad tensioner?? Anyway, here's the graph. BTW, I think it's time to replace my valve springs. They have a lot of miles on them and I bet the graph would smooth out some with new ones.

I took some video yesterday on the dyno with a regular digital camera. For some reason, it won't play on the computer. I need to find my software for the camera and see if that helps.

You have H/C and a blower and made 500 RWHP? Did you ever dyno before the blower? I'm thinking the car probably made over 400 RWHP before the blower.

It made 390 before. The maggie isn't about peak hp #'s. It's about making power fast. This car drives like stock w/power on demand.

It fit after I lowered the k member, cut some of the cowl, and a little under the hood. None of that is noticeable.

Wowa!! Holy ****!!! Like, 450 RWT @ like 2500 RPM?!?! With only some mild heads, cam, and a magnacharger?! WOW!!!

Wold lowering your k-member throw the drive alignment or whatever off? How did you lower it?

It didn't affect the ride height of the car. Just have to have it alligned afterwards so there's no uneven tire wear.

The kit contains the spacers and longer bolts needed to lower the k member. It really doesn't change the angle enough to worry about. People put small lifts on trucks all the time without issues. That changes the angle a lot more than this. Even worn out motor mounts can change the angle, but that doesn't have any ill affect on other driveline components.

Awesome numbers Tim! looks like your tuners did a real nice job

On the belt issue, if you need another tensioner, let me know I have one here I can send. Did you get the crank pulley spaced back out properly from the modified lower timing chain gear? If that's still off a little, it could be moving the belt front to back and causing some trouble?

Anyway, congrats on the power, looks good, let me know if you need anything,
Ed
