Default Rearmount setup new best. 10.139 @132.74

Sticky track, left on 9psi. Netted me a 1.48 60' and I still don't have any susp work or skinnies lol. Got some lovely 2.75 gears too. No changes from last time except pulling a little fuel out of it. I'm just getting better at the launch when they have VHT on the track.

60'---- 1.482
330'--- 4.162
1/8---- 6.446
MPH--- 106.60
1000--- 8.444
1/4---- 10.139
MPH--- 132.74

Picked up a smidge of false knock so it killed the MPH and so did the 15-20mph head wind, but it was a very nice pass. I've pretty much sorted out the false knock issue on launch now. Got several clean passes including a few 10.2x ones. Turbo is done, going up 4 psi only netted me 1mph gain. Going to swap to the .96 a/r and see if it improves.

If the head wind would have been a tail wind it could have been tonight. I'll get there eventually. I'm sneaking up on it so I don't scare it away.

Congrats, I assume they have the track pretty well prepped for the big street car thing if you are running at Vegas.

Hopefully you will get a couple more chances when the good weather is around.

That's awesome man! Gives more hope to the good ol' 2.75 gears!!

Have you tuned the car on a dyno ever or just driving around? What converter are you running in it?

i've tuned on the dyno over a year ago just playing around, made 470 rwhp and went 10.50's @ 130mph. I only use dynos for tuning since they don't give accurate HP readings with a unlocked setup. I do some tweaking on the street and then make adjustments as neccessary at the track. Haven't really had to make any changes for a while though.

Converter is 9.5" vigilante that stalls to 3000 on the trans brake n/a on my setup.

What tires , hows it cruise on the highway with 2.75's ?

Sounds like the ultimate street car to me , Air conditioning , rear mount turbo , braked 3speed auto , highway friendly gearing , basic engine components using a good gas mileage cam . Congrats .

What compression ratio and psi are you seeing ?
Do you have any pictures of the rear mount , homebuilt or a kit anyone can buy ?

Sorry for all the questions , seems this is a proven setup .
