What would YOU like to see in a Vortech big blower setup?
Assume ~400 CI
Assume a blower capable of 1K RWHP
Assume good fuel system
Assume drivetrain is up to par
Intercooling is up in the air.
Mounting TBD
Drive system at least 12 rib.
What would you like to see? I would like to hear both street and race opinions.

i want to see a A2W IC and atleast 10:1 CR with a solid roller setup squeeling at the pitch of 8000rpms with a g-force or jefco tranny behind it....
that makes my pants a little tight thinking about it ...

Id like an XX sized blower, that will fit exactly where my YSi sits. Which already fouls my GTO style PAS pump a little.
Or just to get someone to fit a bigger wheel to my YSi

Twin screw and crank drive are out. Trans will be 3 speed auto unless someone wants to send me something else.
I do like the idea of mounting in the same location as current or even low on the engine. That way belt length can be short.
We should start working on this soon. Mounting location and drive system will be the biggest challenges.

I will be running motor plates. BUT, we want to keep this to something that can be sold as a kit. This gives me a lot of flexibility on location. Also want to it be reverse rotation so we can face the inlet forward. NMCA Xtreme Street allows for this on the LSX platform.

There was a member on this forum that had the YSi mounted down low on the driver's side, I think he used a cogged belt too. Allowed him to keep all accessories. Looked really trick. It might be tight with the radiator, might have to move that forward. Not sure if it will clear or not. I was gonna do with a ysi with my old car but had to sell her.

X Trim is allowed. That is where I am guessing we will start. Not sure we will need a strut or if it feasable with a reverse rotation. That all depends on how we end up mounting the head unit.
Radiator is not an issue. Plenty of material to remove from there

YUP I was gonna get that RMCR kit. just ran out of funds. What would have sucked is the YSi would have been too big to fit under the SS hood so I would have had to get another hood I think. I didn't want to do that so I liked the low location.
Other than the Sunoco hood, I think the SS hood is badazz and really didn't want to change it out.
