Default Wrapping up my engine/turbo setup... Have a couple ?'s

I am getting everything wrapped up on my engine/turbo build. I am down to pistons and deciding whether or not it's worth it to go with the 1/2 inch head studs.
What I need to know is. What CC piston should I get for my engine? (they will be diamond pistons)
Should I go with the 1/2 inch head studs?

Here is the break down of my build that I currently have or it's already been paid for and on the way.

408 stroker consisting of Callies 4" Crank
Callies 6.125 rods
72cc AFR heads
OFI's T6 Setup with a S91 Turbo

I've seen that Mighty Mouse is having good luck with the Felpro Head gaskets. Is there any particular set I should look for?

This car is 75% track car 25% street driving fun (NOT my daily.) I am looking to push this engine to the limits this next coming season but don't want to go to the point of lifting the heads to much, I am hoping for around 1k rwhp and a low 9 to high 8 sec 1/4 mile pass with this setup.

Any pointers would be great!

Next winter I plan on building a LSX block with some etp 6 bolt per cylinder heads.

Stock sized L19 head studs would be better than 1/2" 8740s.

Thanks for the advice Phill. Also thanks for the pm Adam.

For those of you thinking I need to just do a search, I have tried that. I even searched google for a calculator of sorts to find out what CC piston I need exactly. I am looking for a compression ratio in the 9.1 area. If someone has a link or a suggestion for what exactly I need that would be great.

Probably something "around" a -25cc piston with a zero deck height will get you in your 9.1 CR. Sounds like a custom piston from Diamond as I don't see anything like that in their catalog. Go with the inboard forging race dish pistons from them. Call diamond and they will spec it all out for you.

Is there a sponsor on the board I could call and talk to about it that we could possibly order the pistons through?

Also thanks for the advice Dan!

There are plenty qualified to help you on here, I personally used Kurt at W2W to get my pistons, rods, and cam spec'd. He can help you with any questions or parts you might need along with those FelPro gaskets you inquired about.

Your setup is very similar to mine. I have an OFI T6 with S91 as well, there is a thread I posted somewhere with pics of my mock up. I'm having the LSX 427 being built now here locally and I'm also using AFR225's for the time being. I need to settle on the intake, and a couple more things and i should be set as far as parts go. For our HP/track goals, you don't really need 1/2 studs, I went with the regular studs. L19's are practically non existant at the moment, talked to ARP and might be a new batch out early next year.
