Question Procharger Fuel Pump

I'm putting together a Procharged "blow through" engine (505cid) and was wondering what kind of fuel pumps you guys are running? The engine will be fairly radical but still see some street driving.

Any reccomendations on an electric pump that can supply enough fuel and still live on the street?

Thanks in advance, BP

The blow through carbs are pretty forgiving at that low psi. A friend is running a pair of A1000's and took them to 1400rwhp on E85.

Check out the Aeromotive Eliminator fuel pump and associated items from Aeromotive that we used on my Z28. The Aeromotive Eliminator pump and controller will handle what you are looking to do.

+1 for the big magnafuel pump... Belt drives work pretty sweet on those set-ups as well, you don't have to worry about voltage variations so much, escpecially if you are close to the limits on the pump...

Please note that the Aeromotive Eliminator pump is not the A1000. Bob

Thanks for the info guys! I was considering the Aeromotive "Eliminator" pump but I've heard a few guys say that you can exceed it's limits eventually.

Has anyone used the "Weldon" pumps? (DB2025-A) They are expensive but it seems like you could shoot for the moon with one of those!

Naturally it is going to depend of just how much horsepower you plan on making on a street driven car. Below are the details from my website on the Aeromotive Eliminator fuel pump. The Eliminator is providing us with plenty of fuel for my Camaro, which ran a 9.12 in the 1/4 on it's second outing with a converter that has severe slippage, that we need to get corrected. Here is a link to my car, and it is on the cover of this months Fastest Street Car magazine. http://www.exoticperformanceplus.com...Car.php?car=12 Bob

For high horsepower Strip/Street applications, EFI or carbureted.

For fuel injected engines:
Up to 1600 HP - naturally aspirated
Up to 1100 HP - forced air induction

For carbureted engines:
Up to 1800 HP - naturally aspirated
Up to 1500 HP - forced air induction

If you've outgrown your A1000, or plan on making over 800HP blown, choose the Eliminator. Designed for forced air induction machines running on the street and at the track, this pump gives you the unequalled durability of the A1000 pump with about 35% more flow at pressure. Proprietary aerospace composite technology is built into the patent-pending "dual chamber" pumping mechanism.

Pump flow exceeds 800lbs. per hour @ 13.5 Volts and 45 PSI.
Inlet port is -12 AN, outlet port is -10 AN.
For EFI engines use regulator P/N 13110, carbureted P/N 13202.

The ultimate continuous duty street warrior. Supports more HP in a true street car than any other pump built. Billet Pump Controller (P/N 16302) recommended to keep fuel cool on long trips.
