LS7 & Supercharger
Hey Guys. Is anyone running any superchargers on their factory LS7 engines? If so, what are you running and how are your experiences?

Well, the LS7 has a complete forged bottom end, except for pistons...
What kit does everyone suggest for best performance, on a COMPLETELY OEM ENGINE?

they have a forged bottom already? So forged pistons are all that would be needed huh?
nice. There dont seem to be many kits for the LS7 from what i have seen.
And, because murphy loves me, there doesnt seem to be a twin screw kit available for it. However, KB seems to be in the process of putting out an LS7 kit.

You can but the P1SC has limitations. You can under use the D1SC for now and repulley later. The D1SC is $200 more initially. The P1SC can be upgrade later for $1200. Don't make the mistake I did. It will some day down the road cost me $1000....

Basically, if you intened to leave the LS7 stock, then there's no reason to pay for an upgrade to the D1SC. You can't run more than 6 PSI or so on a stock LS7 (at least I wouldn't) and the P-1SC can easily make this, even a little more.
If you do intend to lower the comp in the future, then you could run 12+ PSI, which would require the D-1SC, and as has been said, it's much more expensive to upgrade it later.
Hope this helps,

i assume forged lower compression pistons and resleeving....how much would this typically cost??
