Default How much boost is Safe?

i am putting a supercharger on a ls2 soon and i need to know the max safe boost level for a stock ls2 with some bolt ons.

pshhhhhhh...to quote from a poster on LS1GTO:

Crank it up until the ringlands collapse, then back off 2psi. That's the ideal setting.

hahaha I like that one!!!!!! SuperDave has been at 15psi on his stock ls2 for a while now. 735/745 to the tires.

I would have to say more like 12 psi with perfect everything. 15 psi you would be lucky to get another 30k miles out the short.

I would not do anything past 8lbs with everything else being perfect. That is unless you have a load of money that you want to throw at your car towards engine rebuilding with forged internals. Ask me how I know.
