Default 700RWHP Rearmount on PUMPGAS!!

First and most importantly... THANKS TO STEVE AND JOSH AT LATE MODEL RACECRAFT!! www.latemodelracecraft.com

Ok with the appropiate props being given... Guess what fellas? Josh did some inital Dyno pulls with the TA...

The first one came to 702 RWHP but was a little lean (keep in mind these are tuning runs)... Boost climbs fast and holds steady at ~14lbs. Now remember this is through a TH400 on pump gas... with the PT88... not bad numbers huh? I am proud of it...

The second one the AFR was brought down where it should be... running about 14deg of timming. Again this hit right around 14lbs of boost.

From here Josh and folks at LMR are going to do some more tunning pulls today likely... because I am running such a low compression 408 (8.3) he is going to throw another degree or so of timing at it and see what it does... we are not going to push it too far (Josh is keeping me out of trouble) on pumpgas... then tomorrow they are going to drain her and load her with some C-16 and see how much boost we can really get out of her (shooting for 20lbs+)

Keep tuned in and we will post up more as we see what some additional timming does and then what we can get on race gas.

Thanks again Josh and Steve... I am sure these guys will chime in here too.

Looks good. From your setup and what I've seen I would probly roll in some more timing up top.I would think 14 degree's at peak torque and 18 degree's at redline.Yes -on pump gas.

Go run it man. Im only pushing 10 psi and did 692 to the wheels! And ran 10.21 last night! Look forward to seeing it run! Im rolling about 19 degree's on 93. CR is where it's key to run that timing on pump.

Hahhaa.. I can't wait man. That is what Josh said... "I really dont care about the Dyno numbers... lets see what it can do at the track".

We still have some tunning to do, then some shaking out of the suspension... I have no doubt on racegas and more boost we will see low 9's. My dreams are still for an 8.99 run... but so far I am really happy with what I have! Once we get it all shook out I will bring it down to SAR and we can have some fun..

Looks awesome. I'm running more like 19 degrees of timing right now, and I'm 8:1, but all combos vary and you have a stroker which will make a difference. LSx's typically make a lot of power with less timing than predecessor GM engines have made, a paradigm shift.

John,

Yea that was Josh's opinion too... he thinks we may still see good gains with a little more timing on pump gas. But he also dosent want to push too hard on Pump gas... just not worth it. We are gonna see if we can get to 20+lbs of boost on C-16.

I dont know... I will have to see how my time is going with my Company. Right now I still spend the majority of my time in Iraq and Afghanistan working all my sites.... but I may make time to do just that. I want to help promote LMR for all they have done for me, and would love to just hang out with some of the guys I have talked to on here for the last few years...

Thanks Fellas!!!

Jermey.. I gotta get to 9's before you do when you mount up that S-80. I still think I will get you in the top end!! hahahaha

I still need to figure out what Boost controller I want to use... Torn between a cheaper 2 stage one or one of the 1000's that uses C02 and is progressive.

Also looking forward to seeing what an additional couple degress in timing may do today...

Hahah.. they are actully some decked Stage 1 TSP's w/ 72cc chambers. (6.0L heads). The one thing I am worried about in my setup... I will someday have to break down and get something I can TQ down those L-19's on.

So, what are the SAE corrected numbers? BTW, if you didn't know, STD correction reads higher than any other CF...

Which on a 700 hp STD graph typically translates into a 660-670 SAE.

Cool setup though!
