Dynoed today...sucks...:-(
went today..problems. ..Car is cutting out at 5500rpm. almost sounds like spark blowout or sounds like your hitting the rev limiter... regaped plugs to .028 same thing, then new Tr6s gapped at .026 and still the same.. Maybe wires..I need to ohm them. The MSD wires are 2 years old with 3K miles on the. I'm going to ohm them tomorrow..Any other wire recommendations?? Or maybe crank sensor air gap?? Don't know...Sucks though...Made 690rwhp/640rwtq at 5500rpm at 16psi of boost....11.8/1 AFR and 16 deg timing..Time to tear back into it.. Also have another idler going bad, it was squeaking alot today, replacing it tomorrow as well..

This is the first thing I would do. I would change the wires. I have taylor's in stock if you need some. Your stock coils are fine. That is not the problem. When you hit what I like to call the brick wall does the car throw any codes? And if so please let me know what codes they are. I reconmend a SD 2 bar tune but you are allready pushing 16 psi and you havent even reached max impeller speed. So it sounds to me like you need a 3 bar map. I run the gaps @ .028 on a tr6 plug. The squeak is normal is cold weather. Danny's does it and once warm under the hood its gone.

No codes..The squeak is defiantly a bad idler. It got worse as the day progressed..I will check the wires tomorrow. Need to increase the dwell time on the coils as well...

Chriswtx, Is the car cutting right out, or is it just breaking up and pulling threw ? Sounds like it could be a problem with pushing more boost than the 2bar map can read .. but I have heard of similar problems with bad wires, bad coils, etc.

I would like to see your graph. Are you doing to tuning? And if so do you have logs of the runs? And if you do post a screen shot of it I think it's a matter of having a MAP sensor that can read that KPA. Having the stock maf at your current boost level is not a good thing. Some might argue with me but in my honest opinion I feel you should use a 3 bar map. I have a 2 bar plug and play map at the shop. Let me know if I can help you at all. But Im not going anywhere close to were you are dynoing Nothing against you!
