.81 a/r and f1 turbine wheels I would imagine you will be building by 4k and making full by 5500.

hellbents,
thanks for reply.
already have the .81 's , they sppol to 4000rpm on flat stall, but engine will not pull up any higher, even if i wind up manual bosst valve. If i put the twin 61mm back on, it goes to 5700 rpm...

i think the 76mm turbo's arenot in there sweet spot...
just trying to gte ideas what exhaust a/r's tp put on..

how do you think .68 a/rs would go?
thanks

Why not go with twin 70mm turbos from Forced Inductions? Similar power but waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better spool time. Or even their 76mm turbos.

Thats a lot of turbo for 350 cubes. I'd go with some ST70s if you insist on twins

cool, starting to get some answers...
what stall converter you got?

even tho you have 50 more cubes....
i suppose the .68 a/r on 358 cubes would be comparable to your.81 a/r on 408 cubes???

pictures of the drag car this engine is in.
thanks

Chris.

engine on stand not run( raced..)....( twin gtk 1000's)
little spool up troubles..
gtk 1000/850 come with .81 a/r's hotside.... only gets to 4000 rpm ..
thinking i need a smaller a/r OR looser converter. ???

engine in drag car , twin gtk 550's
355 cubes..
magic spool, can do pro tree start.
maxed out turbos @ 33 psi
run 7.2 @ 191 with 10.2 : 1 a/f ratio ( lazy)

thanks

I'd go with the 0.81 and build a converter to spool it for max power.
