Fastest stock production aluminum block?
LOL since everyone is going for records... just being curious.
Our car went a 5.47 @ 137 mph today with an easy 1.42 60' with the 402 Ls2 aluminum block with 11mm headstuds. 98mm precision turbo @ wayyyy to much boost for the poor thing. LOL thats why we have the 434 lsx fixing to be dropped in. I quess we were trying to hit the limits of the factory aluminum block with no girdles or anything but arp factory sized headstuds.
The heads were last seen floating in orbit around jupiter.
Video will be up soon

with the wastegate open all the way... (on the 10 psi spring, no controller) at 25psi it ran out of injector.
The old setup was a T4 frame 88mm with 83lbhr injectors. ran 5.68 @ 125mph. We have a new 434 lsx with etp ls7 heads almost ready to go in. So today we tried the new 98mm on the older stock ls2 block setup with ls6 heads just to see what she would do. The new setup flowed so much more air even with the wastgate open we went out of our previous safe range of 20psi on the 88mm and stock sized headstuds. 25psi and the 98mm lifted the heads (not suprisingly)
BTW: heres the video of it before the 98mm

LOL to answer my own question... and if memory serves me correct.
If Matt Harlan can remeber the 2004 thunder racing southern shootout and the two School of Automotive machinists students that hung in the pits asking all sorts of questions and helpin load Ice in the intercooler. He went a 5.3x in the 1/8th when he reset the record @ 132mph.
Still got that pass on vid man, good times good times
Fastest stock aluminum block 1/8th MPH? LOL, possibly.
