Will a KB blower whine too?

Will a KB blower whine too? Will the KB 2.6 on 8 psi whine like the maggie does? Cause i love that sound. But its pretty much certian 500whp or more with just the KB kit bolted on, dont think the maggie can do that without a cam right?

i heard my kb the other day and was shocked how loud it was. i am confused cause the whipple was dead silent. both twin screw but the whipple was side mount, kb is top mount. maybe that's the difference?
