Powerdyne Project Update
Just got the blower back from 928 Motorsports and reinstalled. First pull w/ 6 psi pulley produced 400rwhp. Second pull never happened! The blower stopped producing boost after first pull. 928 Motorsports is taking the blower back to look at it. I just bought the Trick Flow 515HP Head and Cam kit and the Fast 92mm intake along with the 92mm PTM Throttle Body. Powerdyne kit is going on ebay if anyone is interested. (after its fixed of course) I will be updating this thread to the Trick Flow/Fast Project soon. I should have some dyno numbers by next week.

You are right.....I tried to save some money and it ended up costing me in the long run. I hope to be posting some numbers soon from the TF package. Superchargers are to much of a hassle, they sound like ****, and they are harsh on the engine. I will stick with heads and a cam!

No thanks on the swap and cash deal. I am selling everything as a kit includind slp maf, comp cams belt tensioner, extra billet pullies, and fuel injectors. I will let you all know what the kit sells for on ebay. And I will admit that not all SC's sound like crap but they are a lot more expensive. I bought brand new heads, cam, intake, MAF and throttle body and will have it all installed for the same price as one new SC. Plus the car will for the most part still look stock and will have no extra moving parts, hoses, fuel systems, oil lines, or cramped in 4 inch tubes. I will get you all the dyno numbers as soon as possible.

what have i done to mine.
i have polished the insides of the scroll nice and smooth.
ditched the FMU for ford green tops and a tune.
upgraded to the GT belt, last a whole lot longer.
run a set of pulleys 3.12, 2.98, 2.73, 2.50. love the 2.73 @ 9 psi.
installed the stronger bearings.
got more wrap around the pulley to help with slip.
installed an intercooler that dropped me 1.5 psi.
always wanted to try the new impeller from 928.
so far i have only rebuilt it twice in 70,000 miles, first time bearing went out,
second time was to upgrade to the stronger bearings and GT belt.
if i was to do it all over again, XB-1A with 928s impeller should make a killer combo.
a future mod looking forward to doing, an 8 rib belt conversion for better grip.
