yes Bob we maid it back last night about 3 am, thanks
well guys i have nothing but great thing to say about the guys up at EPP they worked so hard on my car, when i got up there i had a head gasket take a **** they changed it, then we had to change the oil 2 times and still could not find out why the car just would not make any power, so i have to talk the my motor builder and see whats going on, im hope that the cam is somehow out of time? it was a shitty day but Bob,Jake, and Brent give it 200 percent, hell Bob was even going to let me drive his truck home because there was a time when we thought i was not going to make it back, thanks guys i hope i can work this thing out, and also the car had 40 lbs of oil presser the hole way back? but at idle it had 20 is that ok?

Damn hate it for you. Hope you can get it worked out in a timely manner.
Yeah heard nothing but great things about the guys at EPP, that's why I plan on ordering my new fuelpump from them tomarrow.
That oil pressure sounds alittle low to me for a new motor, but I have heard guys in the internal section complaining about this before. I just don't see how it happens since the bearings haven't had time to "settle" in. The way it was explained to me is that oil pressurse is like boost pressure, it's a measurment of resriction. As the moving parts of your motor wear together there becomes less of a restriction therefore the pressure will become lower. I would think new bearings would cause the pressure to be higher than 20 psi at idle. Maybe someone else can shed some light on this for you.
