Default LT1 Turbo Longblock is finished at last!

Well, at long last, the long block is ready. My Turbo engine builder, Mr. Jim Pitcher of Chatham, New York emailed me last night (5/2/2008) to let me know, the Beast is done! Jim is locally renowned for his engine work on shorttrack racers and came highly recommended. Jim is very meticulous and spared no effort on getting everything just right. The file-to-fit rings have the correct end gaps for this turbo application, the former two bolt main has been converted to a splayed four bolt main using ARP studs/bolts. He pressure tested the water jackets after the four bolt conversion to make sure we don't have any unexpected hydration problems after she's fired up. He balanced the entire rotating assembly. He degreed in the custom Bret Bauer Cam, got the valve springs height uniform and set to Brets specs, measured and ordered custom hardened pushrods, bead blasted the heads and intake and clear coated the intake. He also welded a -10 bulkhead fitting onto my Canton Oil Pan for my T76 Turbo's oil return line.
