Not really sure if this has been asked before but let's see what happens!
Just seeing if anyone here with F.I. has a non-air conditioned car and drives it daily in hot summer weather. What are your opinions? like it, don't like it, it's ok, wish I had A/C, wouldn't trade the easier setup & power for it, yada yada??

Not an F-bod but I ripped almost 100lbs of stuff out. If I had no weight or space penalty I would like AC, but I generally don't take her out in the heat of the day, so no bigee. Way easier to work on with the extra space.

when i had a/c i used it mabey 1 month out of the year
now of that month i suffer and for the other 11 months i reap the beneifits.
i dont have a/c on my truck either
for the car its a reminder to make use of my t tops. if i was jerry (who i forgot to call again today) and had a convertible.. i wouldnt give a **** about a/c at all.

I've considered doing a rear mount but everyone seems to say a front mount is well worth having than the rear mount. Isn't the only downfalls is running more pipe & not as great of a spool time? I'm curious if the same setup (motor, turbo, PSI, etc) on a front mount vs rear mount, how much faster is the front mount car going to be?
edit: oh and also a rear mount is more capable of being stolen. seen it a few times on this board!

I spent the first 30 years of my life without being able to afford a car that ran well and had AC. Now that I can have both, **** a DD with no AC! My present thoughts are that any time you remove a creature comfort from a street car, you are converting it into a race car. BTW,I have to deal with Georgia and Texas summers, as well as Ohio winters, so climate control is a bit more important to me than some.

A 1,000 RWHP street car can be had with the TT APS kit or the Single turbo OFI kit.......more room is not needed anymore. OFI kit can be built for 1,500 RWHP if need be and keep A/C.
No need to build cars without A/C anymore, unless for weight reduction to run .10 faster at the track.
