Default STS kit on a C5

Well I'm finally pulling the trigger and picking up a C5Z a few months out. I was wondering if I could hear from some people running the STS kit on their Vette or Fbody. How's the drivability? Did your mileage go up? How much boost are you running. A V8+ Turbo spool and a BOV chiriping. That is so awesome alone. I'm a newb in training. Thanks for the feedback in advance!

According to STS, yes 1-3 miles. A more efficient engine equals better mileage. I have no idea what in engine bay turbos do.
Obviously if your dipping into the boost all the time its going to suck your fuel down.

I picked up 1.5-2 mpg on the hwy in the truck. That was driving 70-85 mph.

Weigh in your options carefully. There are quite a few compaines dealing with F/I for your Corvette. Some are highly reccomended, some are not....

Just do your research before pulling the trigger on the matter. With all of the information available here and at the many other Corvette and LS1 sites, you should have no issue in finding the perfect setup for you and your car.

After looking at the simplicity, reliability and benefits of a REAR mount turbo system, STS is the obvious choice! Thanks for your concerns though.

swear that if you go this route, you will come back and update this thread 6 months or so after it's been on the car...
